Love was not a Senator when the Montgomery County Senators wrote their letter to CASA threatening to withhold funding because they spoke out against the genocide. However, at a Bethesda Chevy-Chase Democratic club meeting, she said she would support it and it did not violate the First Amendment (she formerly worked with the ACLU.
