Kate Stewart (Democrat)- Incumbent

Was Takoma Park Mayor when the city screened “The Occupation of the American Mind.” Resisted pressure from pro-Israeli groups to cancel the screening.

Voted to fund the Maryland Israel Development Center.

Attended the ribbon-cutting ceremony for Aerovironment (US manufacturer of Kamikaze Drones). Aerovironment then bought an Israeli weapons manufacturers. (see video).
