Bullet Voting

Bullet voting means NOT voting for every slot in a race even when you're allowed to vote for more than one.

For example, if there are 4 open seats on a board and you're allowed to vote for up to 4 candidates, you might choose to vote for just your favorite candidate and leave the other three choices blank. Or only doing 3 and leaving the 4th blank.

Voters may do this because if you vote for additional candidates, you might actually be helping those candidates beat out the candidate you like.

By only voting for the candidate you like, even if you are allowed to cast more for that race, you concentrate all their support on that person (or people).

The races that allow you to vote for multiple candidates are your State delegate (you can vote for 3) and your County at Large representative (you can vote for 4).
